Instructor GalleriesInstructor InterviewsFrancesco Corvino is a Concept Designer, Art Director and Matte painter specializing in work for film, TV series, and commercials. Having a strong background in Architecture and Industrial Design, he handles different aspects of production, from rough sketches to the final photo-real image. Born and raised in Italy, Francesco developed a great interest for architecture, art and history. He gained a Master's degree in Architecture and subsequently decided to develop his passion for the film and video game industries by attending the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood. Francesco started his career working with the Aaron Sims Company, collaborating together for several years. Today he continues to design and art direct for the Hollywood film industry having contributed to more than 40 projects, including 'World War Z', 'The Hangover Part 3', 'Wrath of the Titans', '300: Rise of an Empire', 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', 'Jupiter Ascending', and 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'.
