Instructor GalleriesInstructor InterviewsGennaro Esposito is a 3D Artist specializing in environment and hard surface modeling. With over eight years experience in VFX and Motion Graphics for film and television, Gennaro has worked for such studios as MPC London, Cum Creative Singapore and Gadget-Bot Los Angeles, recently completing work at MPC for “The Lion King.” He is also a MODO certified trainer for the Foundry, instructor at Think Tank in Vancouver and CEO of the Digital Shark Academy in Italy.
I had to chance to work with Gennaro since the beginning of his career in 3D/VFX; at that time he had already a lot of experience in Motion Graphics. Since the beginning I noticed his potential and his great skills. I can honestly tell he improved himself so much in a so short amount of time that I was impressed; he was eager to learn like few people in the industry, always open to critics and suggestions, and always willing to do more and more going over his limits to improve his skillset in the more efficient way possible. His specialties is Hard-Surface modelling, but he's great also in the organic ones, everything topped with great eye for texturing and lookdev. He never give up, he's full of energy and proactive, so it's always good to have him on board on complex projects. Everything it's also topped by an amazing attitude, funny and always available to help his colleagues, that makes him a great team oriented professional. Can't wait to work with him again.
Gennaro was a vital team member on the Razer Mamba E3 2015 video. He has shown exceptional speed and good work ethics whilst using Modo. With good direction and decent references, he can produce great work with good quality and speed. He is also a pleasure to work with and gets the job done.
